u must understand what the privacy policies are esp if they are going to be shared w/ third parties.
encryption & digital signatures security has to be in place correctly before we can move any further in health privacy
only CA has privacy policies for web service providers as law no other state.
healthcare IT is in the stimulus package but privacy has been pulled out
if the patients or doctors don’t trust the record keeping the won’t agree to it kinders the seemless use of the data
currently you are at a 50/50 chance of getting the correct care. b/c of the lack of digital records.
