Having experienced the way media has turned victims into criminals during Katrina I would hope that we won't allow this to be a way to excuse the reasons that they are not able to get the needed resources on the ground in Haiti during this crisis.

Many forget that some people were portrayed by the media as gathering food and needed supplies for their children and families by some and then looting by others who were doing the exact same thing.
