Most of the social media campaign strategies are transferable no matter if it's for a business, nonprofit or a consultant. I hear the same exact questions from each of these groups. ROI is mostly a business term, Return on Investment. For nonprofits and consultants it could be considered Return on Inaction (that's not my words)

Metrics are getting better and there are as many tools to use as there are social media apps. Don't try to use all of them, choose the ones that give you the picture of how effective the campaign is for your audience. And remember that every audience is very different and remain authentic.
